Try the "Red Hot & Blue" on Rte 50 -- it's one of the locally-based (but national) chain.  RH&B is a Memphis-style pit-barbecue restaurant -- if you like BBQ, you'll love this one. [email removed]

i have eaten in the Red Hot & Blue just across the Key Bridge in Virginia, and i while the food was good, the bbq didn't stand up to Rocklands (in Georgetown). of course, if you are only going to be in annapolis, this won't be an option.
