Yeah. Sprayberry's!
Take I-85 south to Newnan exit. Go to Downtown (so to speak) Newnan, and ask somebody. It's the best BBQ in the area. Worth the drive.

When you go, get me a sandwich to go, I'll E-mail my address.

Enjoy.

What style?

I happen to love beef ribs and there is this hole-in-the-wall truly dive-looking place called The Rib Ranch on Canton Highway in Marietta (off of I-75, north of 285) that is absolutely wonderful.

I work at 75 and Windy Hill and in this area there are three fairly good pork barbeque places all with very distinct styles.

Big Ed's - sort of a North Carolina style (more vinegar), but good Sonny's - more of a tomato based sauce Williamson's - good old Georgia style, tomato based but not as sweet
               (they also have BBQ chicken)

So, if any of these sound like something you might like, write and I can give you more detailed directions.

There used to be a GREAT place in Buckhead called Texas State line, back on a diagonal street near Pace's Ferry and the old movie theater on the corner. Think there's a mexican restaurant on the same small block.

Is this place still there and if so what is it called these days ?

Best barbecue and sweet tea I've ever had. And I've spent a fair amount of time searching for classic barbecue. TIA
