You won't have any trouble finding good Mexican restaurants anywhere you go in Tucson. The little Cafe Poca Cosa on Scott Avenue south of Congress (there's another one in the Clarion Hotel on Broadway) is is certainly one of my favorites, but it is only open for breakfast and lunch. Near the University and downtown are Maya Quetzal (Guatemalan) and La Indita, both on 4th Avenue. The Molina family has several restaurants around town that are good; check the yellow pages for addresses. To really get that south of the border feeling, head for South Tucson and check out the restaurants on South 4th Avenue, South 6th Avenue and South 12th Avenue. A good one to seek out is El Torero at 231 East 26th Street, just west of South 4th.

Enjoy!
