We had our 25th wedding anniversary dinner at Simon and Seaford's in Anchorage (we had been on an Alaskan cruise) and it was a wonderful meal.
I would highly recommend it. It is within easy walking distance of the Captain Cook hotel in downtown Anchorage--a very nice hotel.

Have a good trip

I believe the name of a marvelous restaurant (salmon esp.) in Anchorage is Elevation 75. I may have the number wrong, but it's Elevation something or other. Carole Bailis

Actually the place is called Simon & Seafort's. I just happen to work there :) It was voted the best place to eat seafood in Anchorage and also best place to take a date. Be sure to make reservations or you'll be waiting awhile. It also has on of the best views of Cook Inlet. Hope to see you There!

It is Elevation 92 and from my experience is TERRIBLE!!! A much better choice is Simon & Seaforts 2 blocks away or The Double Muskie Inn about 45 minutes outside of Anchorage. Another place that has an excellent rep is Jen's in Anchorage. I have not been to it YET but will be there in August of 1996 when I am back.

Hope this helps!!
