It used to be true, but there are a few places I like now. 1) Green Hills Grille 2) Cafe III 3) Hard Rack Cafe (yes, 'rack'. they have pool tables) 4) Mikato Japanese Steak House 5) Cafe Berlin And then there are the normal chain restaurants, the best of which seem to be Ruby Tuesday and Outback. There's a new one called The Blackeyed Pea, but I haven't been there. Then, of course, there's my house, but I'm booked through '96. :)

If you do I can highly recommend Thomas BBQ on route 72 in Madison just west of Huntsville. Oh, there is one good place I like, its called Torttellini - 7500 Memorial Pkwy SW It has Cafe style food with a you guessed it slant. Rob [email removed]
I'm surprised no one mentioned Pho's. Certainly the best I've sampled since I've been here. A little more expensive than the others, but no where near what food of that quality would be in New York or SF. The restuarant I frequent most is the Green Hills Grille, though. Ed B
